About the event
Meet Olivia Zhang: a Harvard sophomore and health social impact leader who not only founded the world’s largest youth-led cancer nonprofit as a 14-year-old, but cultivates other youth leaders through a youth mentorship program and by creating videos on social media for her 120,000 followers.
After her grandfather and elementary school teacher were diagnosed with cancer, Olivia began her cancer work by selling handmade jewelry and artwork to her classmates and donating profits to research hospitals like St. Jude’s. When they passed away, she was encouraged to start a nonprofit organization to make a deeper impact and honor the legacies of her loved ones. As the CEO and Founder of Cancer Kids First, Olivia has grown CKF from a team of three to over 40,000 in 63 countries. She spearheads five service programs to impact ~10,000 patients in 21 countries.
