At Business for Kids, we believe that when students are equipped with the knowledge and confidence to think like entrepreneurs, the results can be transformative.
This was exemplified by Saanvi, an 11-year-old participant in our Young Innovators Bootcamp. Inspired by the lesson, Saanvi applied her newfound knowledge and started a crochet bag charm business.

Through her venture, she earned $350 in profit, which she chose to donate in full to the Vaidehi Seva Samithi Orphanage in Hyderabad, India (pictured to the right). Her contribution provided books, educational materials, and school supplies to support the all-girls’ education at the orphanage.
Saanvi's parents shared with us:
“Thank you, Business for Kids, for hosting the Young Innovators Bootcamp! We’re so grateful for the passion and purpose Business for Kids instilled in her.”
Stories like this one from Saanvi reinforce the core values of our mission: not just the understanding of business principles, but also the bravery to act on them and desire to use business as a force for positive social impact.
