Boys & Girls Club of Troy: Event Recap

On September 30, 2024, two Business for Kids executive team members hosted an engaging and empowering Future CEO Workshop at the Boys and Girls Club of Troy. This workshop was designed to inspire young minds to see themselves as leaders and entrepreneurs within their communities. A total of 28 students participated in hands-on activities aimed at developing their confidence, problem-solving abilities, and business acumen. The students explored key business concepts through interactive discussions and a fun business-themed bingo game. They also learned how to apply these concepts to real-life scenarios, with one student even suggesting a lemonade stand fundraiser to support a local children’s hospital. By the end of the workshop, students were able to see themselves as future CEOs, equipped with the skills and mindset needed to make a positive impact in their communities.
